Our Design Process

Step 1: Consultation

We believe that everything in life revolves around relationships. This is where we get to know you, your business, and your goals. We ask questions and do a lot of listening. These questions give us a better understanding of what you would like your website to look like. Also, it allows to understand what technologies and features your website should have. Once we get to know a bit about you and your needs for your new home on the web we move on to the next step.

Step 2: Research/Brainstorming

This is where we get deep into your industry and see what's going on. Building the foundation for the design on what we learn. We start brainstorming and mindmapping ideas for your design project. We shortlist the best ones and begin the next step.

Step 3: Sketching/Wireframes

In this step we start putting our ideas on paper in a rough form. We explore multiple options for the website in analog before going near a computer. This way we weed out the mediocre ideas and only keep the best. On web design projects the wireframe of the site is sent to you for approval, keeping you in the loop and making sure we're on the right track.

Step 4: Comps/Concepts

This stage is where you get to see full color prototypes of your website or other design pieces. These prototypes allow you to make any revisions before the project goes to the development stage. Plus you get to see how cool your stuff will look!

Step 5: Coding

This step only applies to website design. Once you approve the full color comp we begin the geeky stuff and start building the site. We build every site with valid XHTML & CSS so you know your site will be rock-solid. If you have requested a Content Management System (CMS) be put in place we take care of that at this stage as well.

Step 6: Launch!

This is the fun part! Everything is complete and we launch your site. Time to have a party!
